Yoga at Jay Peak Resort

Join me for Gentle Vinyasa class every Tuesday at Jay Peak Resort, 5:30-6:30pm in the International Room. (Located above the Provisions Store on Tramside).

Vinyasa yoga is the practice of consciously linking the movement of the body with the movement of the breath. Participants will be guided through breathwork, conscious movement and yoga postures that aim to balance the nervous system, quiet the mind and build body awareness. Please bring a yoga mat or email Joanne to let her know you will need one before class. Blocks and straps will be available for practice. Bring a blanket or thick towel if you like.

**This class is FREE for Jay Peak Employees. Please get promo code from HR and use to register.

**Cost for non-employees is $15 per person.

FREE Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga has immense benefits for all populations of people, but most importantly it is a safe, effective and accessible way of practicing yoga no matter your age or current physical circumstances. Chair yoga has been proven to have positive effects on mobility, stress, and cognitive health. Join Joanne Dennis, a Certified Accessible Yoga instructor, for this FREE Chair Yoga class at the Montgomery Public Safety Building on Tuesday October 28th from10am-11am. No experience with Yoga is needed. If you have any specific physical concerns please email Joanne ahead of time. This class is FREE but space is limited so registration is suggested.

Sunday Reset: Move, Breathe & Rest

Offered every other Sunday starting October 12th, this 90 minute class is a combination of yogic practices to balance the nervous system, quiet the mind and honor the physical body through asana, pranayama and meditation. This will include gentle movement to free up the joints, yin & restorative postures to settle into stillness, breath practices to create balance and awareness, and end with a Yoga Nidra. Classes will be seasonally inspired, therapeutic in nature and touch on themes previously offered in the Sunday Reset Series.

Classes are held at Whisper Tre Wellness in Jay , VT (next door to the Jay Country Store). Space is limited to 5 participants each week. $25 per person. Pre-Registration is required.

Gentle Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is the practice of consciously linking the movement of the body with the movement of the breath. In this class students are allowed the opportunity to be gentle with themselves while making space to observe what happens when we cultivate a practice that is sustainable, informed and enjoyable. Props are provided.

Online Pranayama Practice

We all breathe. But to learn how to breathe with awareness can transform our lives. Join me for a Level 1 Pranayama practice rooted in ancient yogic wisdom and modern physiological science. Each session will include 20 minutes of Pranayama & 10 minutes of meditation. Start off your day with a clear mind and balanced nervous system.
