
Join Joanne Dennis of J Mountain Yoga for a morning of deep rest and the healing power of Halotherapy. Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a guided meditative practice that brings the nervous system into balance, helping to reduce chronic stress, support emotional healing and encourage cellular restoration. Halotherapy’s mineral-rich salt air can help improve respiratory health, reduce inflammation, and promote overall immune support. Vinyasa yoga is the practice of consciously linking the movement of the body with the movement of the breath. Participants will be guided through breathwork, conscious movement and yoga postures that aim to balance the nervous system, quiet the mind and build body awareness. Please bring a yoga mat or email Joanne to let her know you will need one before class. Blocks and straps will be available for practice. Bring a blanket or thick towel if you like.

Offered every other Sunday starting October 12th, this 90 minute class is a combination of yogic practices to balance the nervous system, quiet the mind and honor the physical body through asana, pranayama and meditation. This will include gentle movement to free up the joints, yin & restorative postures to settle into stillness, breath practices to create balance and awareness, and end with a Yoga Nidra. Classes will be seasonally inspired, therapeutic in nature and touch on themes previously offered in the Sunday Reset Series.
Classes are held at Whisper Tre Wellness in Jay , VT (next door to the Jay Country Store). Space is limited to 5 participants each week. $25 per person. Pre-Registration is required.

In this class students are allowed the opportunity to be gentle with themselves while making space to observe what happens when we cultivate a practice that is sustainable, informed and enjoyable. Props are provided.

Currently, I offer private, small group and individual yoga sessions at Whisper Tree Wellness in Jay, VT. A private yoga session could be for yourself or with friends (max 5 people). This is an opportunity to work one-on-one to refine and explore your personal practice or have an opportunity to practice with others in a way that works for all of you. Sessions are customized and could involve adapting your yoga practice based on a current physical circumstance or we can focus on a specific theme, specific type of yogic practice or just have a customized 1 hour class to meet your needs. I offer breath-coaching, formal pranayama instruction, self-myofascial release techniques, self-lymphatic massage instruction, meditation, Yoga Nidra, as well as customized Restorative Yoga.
The cost is $90 for one hour for one person (which includes a pre-intake email/discussion ahead of time to establish your goals). Each additional person is $15. Or 3 one-hour sessions for $250 (also $15 per additional person per session). If you are interested in a 3-pack please contact me directly to set this up.
